Insufficient support level to read forum posts?

I’ve been trying to read these support forums to find a solution to a problem I’m having (I posted on that separately), but I’m getting several messages telling me I don’t have sufficient permission to read a post and I need to purchase a license. At least one site suggested a personal license. For example, this page:
https://eventespresso.com/topic/licence-key-not-working/

I have a personal license and I’m logged in; is that not sufficient to read all the posts?

Hi David,

The only time a support licence would not be sufficient would be if you were trying to access VIP material. Generally speaking the forum posts are not VIP material.

From what I can see your licence looks in order. I will raise a ticket with the devs to look into it.

Hi David,

In the case of this thread:

https://eventespresso.com/topic/licence-key-not-working/

They had posted it in the forum for the WP User Integration plugin. Only those who have a support license for the WP User Integration plugin will have access to that forum.

The Personal License that you have includes access to the Premium, Calendar, and Social support forums.

If you’re getting a license key error message, this is the post that I recommend checking out:
