Hi,
A user of our website has the role “Events Administrator”.
When she tries to log in there is an error “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”
Please help.

Can you please let us know which page you want to access which is causing the issue?

Please check the Roles and Capabilities that your Event Administrator has. Refer to this article.

I looked into the documentation.
Installed the plugin to see capabilities (user role editor)
I see almost all ee_capabilities enabled.
Then I really enabled them all (starting with ee_ … still the same error.)
Maybe there are capabilities missing ?

Hmm strange!
So just to confirm, were you editing the Role when adding the capabilities above, or editing the users capabilities?

Just to note, as far as I know:
“You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”
Is not a string within WordPress core, so this is some code running within another plugin or the theme that is running on one of EE routes and looking for a specific capability (probably manage_options) and then using die().
The code I gave you above also confirms this as its hooking into when WordPress core outputs the message and here nothing is output.
