Hi there, |

You can also download the updated version from your account page. |

Thanks Josh, I did and I have a folder What should I do with the folder? I am not a technical guy when it comes to this things. I have the folder in my computer, now question is how can I tell WP to upgrade the Calendar by this folder!!! |
|
See the documentation for upgrading via the WordPress dashboard. The process for installing/updating Event Espresso addons (or any plugin from a zip file) is the same. https://eventespresso.com/wiki/installation/#dashboard Skip to c) as we are no longer bundling all the zip files for each plugin in a single zip.

I think I shall wait for update to be available via WP. Do you have any idea when it will be available? I tried to do it but I am not brave enough to fiddle with these things!! |

Hi Ted, The auto update is from Event Espresso, the calendar does not update from wordpress.org. So in order to initially update to the new calendar, you will need to upgrade manually. Only the newer versions of the calendar have the plugin update code included, so once you have the new calendar future versions can be updated with the 1-click feature. Note that you will need to have an updated version of Event Espresso in order to use the new calendar (currently 3.1.24.2.P). Once you have the latest version of Event Espresso, here are the steps to upgrade the calendar: 1) deactivate the old calendar |

Thank you Josh, Your instruction helped me to install it properly. Thank you so much. |
