Installation and testing of FirstData Payeezy Payment Gateway

I have followed the instructions and I am not sure if the plugin or my data is at fault. I get an error as follows when a form is filled out in debug mode:

An error has occurred:
Undefined Gateway Response received.

I need some help in getting this particular payment gateway to work.
I have the details for the login and settings for FirstData but do not wish to share the hash in this public facing post. Thanks.

Hi,

You actually cannot use live account credentials in debug mode. If you want to use debug mode, you’ll need to get sandbox credentials by signing up for a demo account here:
https://provisioning.demo.globalgatewaye4.firstdata.com/signup

Hi,

We received your request for priority support, so I logged in and checked the payment logs. The most recent transactions show this response from First Data:
Status: 401 Unauthorized Invalid signature received

This is typically an issue with the HMAC key credential with the Webservice API. You can go into the demo account and regenerate the credential. Also, if you wish for them to test the credentials you can email support.payeezy@firstdata.com

Please note that First Data does not create, provide, maintain, configure or provide technical support for modules/extensions for any third party platforms but they can test and verify the credentials.
