install problem

trying to install current version of event espresso, but our old version was corrupt. deleted old plugin, removed directory in ./wp-plugins/ folder..

this is the log >>

Installing the plugin…

Could not copy file. /home/azlro/htdocs/5/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/domain/entities/shortcodes/EspressoEventAttendees.php

Plugin installation failed.

Hi there,

The most common cause for the above is running out of space within your hosting so the first thing I would do is double-check you have disc space available.

Do other plugins install as expected?

For example, try installing something like WP Crontol:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-crontrol/

Following that the next most common cause is permissions/ownership issues.
