when I try to activate I get this error:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 12288 bytes) in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/admin_pages/registrations/Registrations_Admin_Page.core.php on line 172

also – the version of php is 5.6. I know the current version is 7.2 but I have not been able to test with other plugins yet so not sure if I should push it out or not. Just an FYI.

Hi Matt,
The current version of PHP is 7.3 and updating to that would be advised because PHP will end active support for version 7.2 next month.
You might be able to get by with PHP 5.6 if you can increase your allowed memory limit to at least 256MB.

Hi Josh –
Got it w the php version. But how specifically do i resolve the fatal error? Is that related to not enough memory or to php version.

“Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted” means not enough memory. So you can check to see if the memory limit can be raised to something like 256MB.
