When I upload images into an event description and create a gallery, is the only option to have a scroll-through gallery? (I’d like to be able to see tiles of each of the two images at the same time without having to scroll to the next image).
Also, when adding an image without it being a gallery, the image will only upload into the bottom of the event description (I can’t move it higher into the description). Any tips for fixing this?

Hi there,

When I upload images into an event description and create a gallery, is the only option to have a scroll-through gallery?

The media uploader and gallery function functions are a part of WordPress core which EE enabled within the editor so the options available are the default WordPress media opinions.

(I’d like to be able to see tiles of each of the two images at the same time without having to scroll to the next image).

Unless I’m misunderstanding this, wouldn’t you just insert 2 images into the content for that?

You should be able to to drag the content around so you can move the image.

If you click and drag the image does it now move?

Any errors on the page?

I would, but each image stacks vertically instead of horizontally. I have four images I’d like to appear in ‘columns’ next to one another.

No, I can’t move an image once it has been uploaded into the event description. Each image uploads to the bottom of the page below all text, no matter where the cursor is. It can’t be moved once it’s showing in the description.

Hmm, strange!

It sounds like theres a JavaScript error being thrown within the editor.

If you open up your browsers Dev Tools (e.g. Chrome Dev Tools) and look in the console section, are there any errors?
