Hi, We are looking for an event registration software that would allow us to do a few things: 1) Integrate with Authorize.net for Payments (it appears that we would need to purchase an add-on for this) 2) Register people for First Aid and CPR courses. We would have multiple course dates at any given time. We would want companies to be able to register multiple employees as well. 3) Register people for swimming lessons. For swimming lessons people would need to choose their day of the week, time and level. Each class would only hold 8 – 12 participants depending on the class. We would like parents to be able to register multiple children in different levels (potentially at different times) on the same transaction. For pricing – if they registered 3 or more children for lessons, we offer a family rate instead of individual pricing. I’m thinking that this is possible. We also like the possibility of social sharing and see that this is a $14.95 add-on. Would the Event Expresso plugin handle this. |

I’m also wondering whether or not it would send emails to remind registrants of the upcoming event. |
Hello again Meaghan, Here is feedback on your questions: 1) Authorizenet AIM is included an is an onsite payment option for accepting credit cards. Authorizenet SIM is available as an add-on as an offsite payment option and can be used for accepting credit cards. 2) Event Espresso will let you register one registrant or multiple registrants at once. Additionally, you can collect different information from the primary registrant than the additional registrants. 3) You can restrict the number of registrations via the event editor on the ticket-level basis. This can also be done for the datetime option which is when an event is taking place. This is helpful if you are offering different type of tickets but still need to have a maximum amount of attendees/registrants enforced. A discount based on number of registrations isn’t available at this time. However, you could create a discount code that would apply a discount. Another option is to offer “bundled” registrations: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/create-ticket-bundle/ The events social sharing add-on is compatible with Event Espresso 4 and will let your attendees/registrants share a message about their registration after registering to various social networks like Twitter and Facebook. Yes, you can manually send reminder emails about emails. We are also developing a new add-on that will automate this process for you. For example, you could send an email reminder 48 hours before an event. — |

Thank you for your information. I’m not sure I understand what the difference is between SIM and AIM We would have an Authorize.Net Payment gateway and be using our own credit card processor. We want to ensure our clients get charged in Canadian dollars and already have a payment processor we have worked with for 11 years. Does this work with Event Expresso? |
Hi Meaghan, Authorizenet AIM is onsite which means that the payment process occurs on your site. This is included in the core plugin. Authorizenet SIM is offsite which means that the payment process occurs on an Authorizenet server. This is available as an add-on (additional purchase). If this helps, both payment options use the API Login and Transaction Key for payment processing. Do those sound familiar? — |

Yes we would have a API login and transaction key for payment processing. We actually prefer our clients to stay on our own website so that is great. There appear to be a number of negative reviews in terms of set-up difficulty on the WordPress site. If things are not working for us, I assume that you would provide support through the forums this way as well and that there would be an option or a refund? |
Yes, support is provided through our support forums. We accept refunds within 30 days and just ask that you try to let us resolve the issue before requesting one. Thanks — |
