InfusionSoft Integration Not Working

Hey there,

I’ve created a new event which should be pushing contacts through to InfusionSoft and applying a tag to them and it isn’t working.

Can you please help troubleshoot this?

I’ve done this many times on events so I’m not sure why it’s not working for this new event.

Hi,

Can you go to Event Espresso > Infusionsoft and verify the correct Application Name & Encrypted Key are set there?

UPDATE: I just tried testing things again using a test email address instead of contacts I’d previously using for testing and it went through.

Any idea why it would work for a new contact but not my previous test contacts?

Hi,

If I understand your question, the Infusionsoft add-on should not add a new contact if the contact is already in Infusionsoft.

Correct, but on most occasions it will apply the new tag to the existing contact record.

I used two tests – one was already in Infusion, the second had previously been deleted from Infusion – both, however, have been previously used to test registrations.

The contact that was already in Infusion did not receive the new tag and the contact that had been deleted previously from Infusion was not created.

May I ask are you also deleting contacts on the EE side too, or are those contacts still in Event Espresso > Registrations > Contacts?

1 is in EE, the second is not.
