Hey there,
We are using an InfusionSoft Integration and I just realized (after sending the invite email out to all of our members) that the Guest(s) of the first registrant are creating new contact records in InfusionSoft, rather than populating the “Guest” Custom Fields in the Primary Registrants account.
Is there a fix for this? I’m just not sure how to know who has registered as the guest of who.
Please help!

Hi there,
Can you double-check the system questions in Event Espresso > Registration Forms > Questions and make sure that the system questions for First Name and Last Name haven’t been edited to become fields for capturing guest information?

I don’t believe so. Here is a screen shot of the First Name and Last Name Questions.
If this isn’t what you’re looking for can you please let me know how I can find the information you’re asking about?
Should there be something different for guests?

Are you capturing the information for additional attendees using the above fields, or are they captured using other fields?

Good morning Josh,
I haven’t created any additional questions, I just have selected “Personal Information” required for Additional Registrants.
Also, is there a way to export a guest list that matches the primary registrant with the additional registrants so we know who each primary registrant is bringing as a guest?
Right now when I export the list it has everyone on their own so I don’t know who is bringing who.
Please let me know.

So when you select Personal Information for Additional Registrants, that will make it so each guest gets a contact in Infusionsoft. You can start a new question group with questions for Additional registrations, then use that group instead of Personal Information. This way, all tickets for the group registration will be in the Primary Attendee’s name, but you’ll also have the information about the guests via the custom fields.

How can I export a list of registrants that indicates the primary attendee for each additional attendee?

Right now, you can’t. But after you make the changes I suggested, the Primary Attendee’s name will be on all of the tickets in their group.
