I’m having some difficulty with event espresso (which I’ll detail in another post) that has led me to redownload and reinstall the plugin.
It’s hard to confirm that the copy I download is the correct and most up-to-date version.
- The changelog.txt that comes with the plugin download points to webpage that has a huge banner stating “this is the old forum.”
- The readme.txt states that the version of the plugin 3.0.19, but the website states the current version is 3.1.27.1
My suggestions:
1. Pick one document that you will put the version number.
2. If you point to an external URL for this information (which you shouldn’t) make sure it is an active and up-to-date URL.

Hi Thomas,
Sorry for any confusion. If you open up espresso.php, the version number will be printed at the top of the file.
I will update the notes in the readme.txt. Thanks for catching that.
