Currently Event Espresso warns about my PHP version being too low, even though it isn’t:
Event Espresso recommends PHP version 5.4.44 or greater for optimal performance. You are currently running version 5.3.29.
But it is actually version 7, specifically 7.0.20, like the Event Espresso maintenance page states.
I have EE and all the addons I use up to date
Tried to switch to PHP 5.6
But the warning never changes, and comes back after dismissal
What might be the issue?

Hi there,
That’s a persistent notice, so once it’s trigger it will remain until you click the dismiss button/link on the bottom right of the notice.
So there is a problem if you dismiss the notice and it re-appears but otherwise, you should be fine.
