i have a custom question named “IC” for my event. This column is to collect Identity Number from my participant, sample of data would be like “900100203000”, “733333668888”.
From the exported file result become:
“900100000000”, “733333000000”
can see the behaviour of the system would convert last 6 digits of the number to zero, not sure what’s wrong with the export function. Upon checking, the data can show correctly in the registration detail page, so it’s not the data problem, should be something wrong when converting the excel.
FYI, my current event espresso version: 4.9.81p

Hi,
This could be an issue with your Excel settings. If you open the CSV file in a text editor and review the raw data, are the identity numbers correct there?

Hi Josh,
just tried opened in my macbook numbers apps, no problem showing the data. so how about the excel? any idea how to resolve that? will needed to use it on window version laptop.

I don’t personally use Excel, but there should be a Format cells option you can change to “text”.
