Inactive Event

Hello, I have created an event and it is appearing as inactive. I have checked the date & time and everything looks fine. Event ID 1057. Please help.

Hi there,

Have you published the event or is it saved as a draft?

I can’t see any published events on your site so if it’s still a draft it will show inactive until published.

I did published it on 29 Apr.
Status: Draft Edit
Visibility: Public Edit
Publish on: Apr 29, 2021 at 12:18 Edit
Approved Registrations : 0
Pending Payment Registrations : 0
Not Approved Registrations : 0

That shows the status of that event post is draft:

Status: Draft

What happens when you click the publish button?

Does it just appear to reload the page?

There is only 5 options:-
Pending Review
Draft
Cancelled
Postponed
Sold Out.

Yeah you can’t set a status of published, you just click the publish button:

Try changing the status to Cancelled and then click the ‘Save Cancelled’ button.

Does it save with a status of cancelled?

Create a new test event, give it a name/title and just click publish, does that event publish correctly or do the same thing?

Ok cancelled does changed the status.

I have created another as you said now it is appearing as upcoming. I haven’t set the correct date just the name and published.

On that ‘broken’ event, did you not set a title and then save, then set a title?

If so that can cause issues, it will generally fix itself on next save but sometimes not (it depends on what data saved the first time round).

Your quickest option is to use that new event, copy over the details into that event and then trash the other.

I can’t remember the set up I did. But now it is sorted. I have already update the event.
