In EE3, Send Custom Email to Non-Approved Registrants for Free Events

We have a long history with EE3 for our events (all free). We must APPROVE registration before confirmation is sent. That aspect works fine. Given the large number of people now signing up (>400) we need to send custom email to certain people regarding their registration. Tried to do that within Email manager using Attendee screen. However, will not work unless it is approved which we are not ready to approve (more client info is needed for example). How can we send custom email to certain people within EE3?

You wouldn’t be able to send custom emails to the not approved attendees using Event Espresso 3. This is something that can be done with Event Espresso 4 because Event Espresso 4 has a batch email feature that allows for sending custom emails to not approved attendees.
