Importing Attendees in Groups

I am using the importer plug-in and wonder if there is a way to import attendees that purchased as a group, so all tickets are sent in 1 email as opposed to 10 emails to the same contact? Event a link to all 10 tickets would be more ideal if I have to send each group a personal email from my Outlook with the link.

Is there a word around here?

Hi,

Currently the attendee importer can not import groups of attendees. Each attendee gets one ticket.

Hey Josh,

Thank you. My issue is if a group of 12 bought their tickets via cash but under 1 name… I cannot (a) combine them into the same transaction and (b) they will receive 12 separate emails with 1 ticket in each email…

Is there a work around at all to have the tickets combined?

Not when using the Importer Add-on but you can add them manually within the Admin:

Event Espresso -> Events -> {hover over event} -> Registrations -> Add new registration.

There you can add the registrations manually and chose whether or not to send notifications.
