Hi, I am wondering if it is possible to import attendees into a Waitlist for an event? I don’t see that option using the attendee importer.
If it’s not doable with the attendee importer, how would I go about doing that?

Hi,
It’s a two step process:
1) Import the attendees into the event using the attendee importer
2) On the event’s Registrations admin page, select all of the imported registrations, then select the bulk action “Move Registrations to Wait List”, then click Apply

Ok, and so I import them into any ticket, or maybe make a bunk ticket that I then delete?

You should import them onto the ticket they may be ‘promoted’ on, as EE will only promote the user on their current ticket, you can move them onto another if you need individual registrations on specific tickets using the Attendee Mover.

You can not remove a ticket that has registrations assigned to it, doing so will break the relationship to the registration (and therefore break the registration) so EE won’t allow it.
