Before the recent update everything worked fine but now every time I try adding an image to event description, its added on the preview but once I click on update event and it reloads the image for some reason disappears. I tried deactivating the other plugins, that didnt work. I tried manually inserting code with <img src= > same thing happened the image just disappeared. I did a normal post (Not Event Espresso) an added the same image and it worked fine so after trying all that I’m here looking for a solution. Any help will be appreciated, Thanks WP version 3.5.1 Espresso version 3.1.31.1 |

Hi, I am unable to recreate this locally. Is it possible to get your login details in order to look into this? If so, please send them via https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/ NOTE: login details need to be Admin level. |

Login details have been sent. Thanks |

Hi Chris, This is a weird one. The images disappear but then on editing re-appear but instead of being images they are links to the images wrapped in paragraph tags! Not seen this before. I would say that it is a possible theme conflict as it modifies the post editor and Event Espresso can have issues with that. Is it possible for you to test another theme such as TwentyTwelve, temporarily, to see if the issue occurs with that theme as well? |

Ok, I just added the picture when I was on TwentyTwelve and it showed when I posted the event but when I switched back to the regular theme the picture disappear again. My question would be before the update with this premium theme it was working fine, now is not? Should I just go back to the previous Espresso version? Or if you have any other solutions please let me know, Thanks for all the help by the way. |
Hi Chris, Does the theme you’re using support the new media manager that shipped with WordPress 3.5? |
|
|
Yes sir, right now I just posted a regular post and it worked fine. Heres the test page I just did http://events.scenergy-dating.com/test-2/ but is not working inside espresso |

I’ve been doing some extensive testing, and I can see some code changes to EE between the last versions that would allow the event description content to be filtered, but I would need ftp access in order to further narrow down the exact cause of the problem. |
|
Thats fine, where you want me to post ftp details? Here? |

Sent, Thanks |
Hi Chris, Sidney did some work on the site that should make the images work. There may be a conflict between the theme’s custom post types editor and the content filtering. Right now we’re looking into ways to loosen the restrictions that were put in for security reasons in the event editor without making things less secure. |
