Hi,
I’m getting a security warning in IE8. SSL is turned on for the pages and I checked that a max group registrants number was set for group registration (as that was the solution in another forum question).
Your welcome to log into the page (or site backend) if that helps. It’s set to sandbox

thanks
glen

Hi Glen,

In this case, there is insecure content being loaded. Please note the error messages that appear when you view the page in the Web Inspector:

[blocked] The page at
https://reachingresilienceconference.com/register-temp/ ran insecure
content from
http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Ropa+Sans:400,400italic&subset=latin,latin-ext.
[blocked] The page at
https://reachingresilienceconference.com/register-temp/ ran insecure
content from http://connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js. [blocked] The
page at https://reachingresilienceconference.com/register-temp/ ran
insecure content from
http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=PT+Sans+Narrow. The page at
https://reachingresilienceconference.com/register-temp/ displayed
insecure content from
http://reachingresilienceconference.com/wp-content/themes/pressevent/lib/core/images/pattern/pattern.squares_1.png.
[blocked] The page at
https://reachingresilienceconference.com/register-temp/ ran insecure
content from http://connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js.

The fonts are likely getting loaded from the theme, the image is being loaded from the theme, and it may also be that the Facebook content is being loaded from the theme as well or another plugin.

It may be possible for the theme to be altered so the Google fonts to be switched and the image to load as https. The Facebook content will likely not be possible to be loaded as http. I recommend contacting the developer of the theme for support with the font issue. I’m not sure whether the Facebook content is being added via the theme or another plugin. In either case, the Facebook content can be removed from the pages that are loading under https.

Thanks for you help! I’ve posted at the theme site but from the looks of it they are on a longer Christmas holidays. Could I trouble you to ask how you got that error list in IE, I see a few things I could try.

Thanks for the excellent service.

Hi Glen,

Press F12 in IE to open up the developer tools and select Console. You can also use Chrome and right click and Inspect Element and again go to console.
