Now that we can export our entire iCal file we’re coming up with all kinds of new ideas and we need to know if there is away to import an iCal file?
We now need to take an existing calender(s) and import that into our calendar.
The other calenders use .ics.
No, Event Espresso does not have any way of parsing an .ics file and converting it into an event. The EE calendar only handles events coming out of the database. You might want to take a look at the events.csv file and see if you can import the .ics file into a spreadsheet program, and convert it into the format of the events.csv file. Then you could import it into EE.
Clearly I’ve stopped thinking or I’m over thinking. I’m going to engage my brain now (: – to many projects at once and I overlooked the obvious.
Yes, we can just alter and use the other sites csv file – I need a vacation.
Thank you so much.
