thanks for the new ICS Calender Export Procedure. It works great in Windwos IE.
1.
But on click the ics export icon in a Safari / Mac the ICS File is downloading as AABBCCEvent.ICS.PDF Filename. With the wrong extension it is not useable.
it works on the mac with Chrome and Firefox without pdf extension
2.
i use EEspresso with German settings. In the ICS Files are the Start and Enddate not filled.
the file content looks:
DTSTART:19700101T010000
DTEND:19700101T010000
so the real event start end enddate is not used from the event.
3.
BTW only fyi the Translation in the Template Settings:
“Display an “Add to my Calendar” icon/link in the event templates?”
is missing.
Regarding the ics that is very strange as all the devs use macs, though it is possible they didnt test it on Safari. It works fine with Safari on windows.
I will get it passed to a mac user to test.
Using German language files for my test install I could not replicate any issue with the ics – are you sure the timezone is set correctly?
Could you copy/paste the ics content here?
Thanks for letting us know about the translation, it is missing from the PO file, ill get that updated so it can go in the translation queue.
I’ve confirmed this issue in Safari on OSX. It’s been added to the release schedule, tentatively slated for .32, but if we can get it in earlier, we will.
