Hi,
We are using EE4, and also the Infusionsoft Integration, and send out the confirmation emails from within Infusionsoft, not EE.
Is it possible to update a custom field in Infusionsoft with the iCal link when an attendee registers for an event, or alternatively, is there a standard format for the details with iCal that we can update the custom field within Infusionsoft with?

I checked into this and I’m assuming you would need to add the custom field to the Order, correct?
EE currently has a filter you can use to add custom fields to the contact created within IS (you used that filter in your other thread for the ‘company’ field) but that means that if the same user registers onto multiple events the custom field would only store the last registrations details.
The Order within IS is automatically created when we create an invoice and currently, you can’t pass custom data to the function call.
I’ve requested some feedback from one of our developers to see if there is another way to update the Order with a custom field.
alternatively, is there a standard format for the details with iCal that we can update the custom field within Infusionsoft with?
I’m not sure how that would work, how are you going to build the iCal from within IS?
