I need an event limit that works

Using this for a modeling agency.  99% of the events are 1 user events.  I cannot reduce the number of attendees to zero.  I set it to one, no overflow, and still I get multiple events with more than one model booked.  Put a check in your add attendees to db to do a simple count and check against reg limit.  My client has to pay the model if they show up.  This is costing them money.

I’m very frustrated with your product.  Your pre-sales team promised the sun moon and stars, told me I could use add-ons a,b and c and it would work great.  I purchased what they recommended and at this point I’ve had to rewrite about 90% of your code, including the front end calendar javascript.

I’ve had to rewrite so much just to make it work there’s no way we could ever upgrade…

I need a fix for this.

While you are at it, fix the front end calendar.  Fullcalendar uses ajax feeds, why are you sending every event down at one time.  We have literally thousands of events.  It’s taking forever for the front end calendar to load.  I’ve already had to extend it to allow selection of individual markets, use jquery deferreds instead of a brain dead timeout of 50ms per image, and use WP localize script instead of inline spaghetti code…

It would be much better if I could set up the ajax feeds I want instead of your script running through a thousand events and taking up tons of memory on the server just to send a calendar.  We have hundreds of models using this system.  It’s rapidly becoming unusable.  It’s bogging the web server down to a crawl.

My client is pushing $100K in development costs, there is no end in sight, and I can’t do anything but watch this broken software drag server performance through the floor.

Basically, I’m finished rewriting your software to make it work correctly.  I need fixes for registration limits and the calendar IMMEDIATELY.

Hi Chris,

Thank you for taking the time to leave this valuable feedback. Your specific criticisms are spot on, which is why the dev team is essentially re-writing Event Espresso 4.x from scratch, which includes dealing with registration limits and rewriting the calendar.
