I down loaded the ticket app, I seem to have it set up the only problems I am having is it is sending the email from Event espresso in the subject, my clients have no Idea who that is and are deleting it. I also have not been able to log into the phone app and I am using a android. and at last I am having clients say the email they are getting has 2 QR codes one of top of the ticket and one at middle of the ticket. Please help or direct me. at 177.00 bucks I would love too know how how to create customer tickets or where I can see videos on set up. Love Event Espresso but for sure is never a plug and play program.. |
Hi, Try this plugin for changing the name of the sender: https://wordpress.org/plugins/send-from/ The mobile apps need an administrator login (https://eventespresso.com/wiki/mobile-apps/) to work. They also need the JSON addon running with API access enabled: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/api-addon/ The email template that is sent out can be edited through WordPress admin –> Event Espresso –> General Settings –> Email Settings –> Default Registration Confirmation Email. The email template can also be customized on a per event basis through the event editor (towards bottom of screen). Here is a tutorial on creating a custom ticket: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-create-a-custom-ticket/ — |

i downloaded the API json app, when I try to log in it is saying unable to log in check web connection or endpoint url. I hate that this is so complicated with your product. |

P>S, it is still sending the email to my clients as wordpress@deeperstate.com |

Hi, API. In the API Settings make sure that: API Session Timeout After is fairly high (I use Never but pick one that is suitable for you). Allow Public API Access? is set to Allow. I am a little confused here: is the email being sent FROM wordpress@deeperstate.com or TO wordpress@deeperstate.com? Is Event Espresso still in the subject line? Please clarify exactly what is happening that shouldn’t be and we will be happy to assist further with that. |

Hi Michael, Please follow up in this thread so that anyone on the support staff can help follow up with a reply. A note on the email issue: > the only problems I am having is it is sending the email from Event espresso in the subject and > P>S, it is still sending the email to my clients as wordpress@deeperstate.com Did you try the email sender plugin that Lorenzo recommended? It turns out that there’s also a setting in Event Espresso > General Settings where you can set the emails to use Fancy Email headers. This change the email headers to show the contact info set on the General Settings page as long as your mail server supports it. Either way you’ll need to install the plugin or change the setting before the email sender will change, this is because WordPress sends out email as wordpress@yourdomain by default. It’s not a bug. |

I am still not able to log in to the Android phone app to scan tickets. I I have already installed the API App and seem to not be able to get it to work. I am not getting much feed back from any one… please help correct this . |
Hi Michael, Can you let me know what the Android app says when you try to log in? |
|
|
it is saying “unable to log in, check web connections or endpoint url” |
Hi Michael, When you go to log into the app, what is the URL that you are entering on the first field above the username and password? Is it deeperstate.com? |
|
|
the url I am using is deeperstate.com |
Hi Michael, We can investigate further if you can send us temporary log in credentials. If this is possible, please send WordPress admin level log in credentials via the contact form on this page: |
|
Hi Michael, I checked your site and it turns out that the Espresso JSON API plugin isn’t installed. You will need to download it from your account page and install it on to your website in order to use one of the mobile apps. When you go to your account page, the download link will look like this. |
