I tried loggin in when I am in the registration form but nothing happened. It says ” An error has occurred:
You have entered an email address that matches an existing user account in our system. You can only submit registrations for your own account or for a person that does not exist in the system. Please use a different email address.”
I tried to click on the Log in but nothing happens.

I tested today. That issue above happens if Im already logged in. I click on the Log in, but it the screen sort of blinks. If I am logged in it should get me through but its asking me to Register or Login.
Anyway maybe I though I should log out first and do the registration again. After that, I filled out the form all the way when I hit “Proceed to Payment” button, it opened to a new window to Log in – which is suppose to be. When I successfully logged in, I came back to the registration form but half of form I filled out got deleted and I had to do it again.
Is there a way? Maybe also in initial form, ask to log in if they have a login before they fill out the form so they wont need to go through all that.

Hi there,
When you are logged in, are you registering onto the event with details that match your current WP USer account?
Or are you adding another registrant to the event, that already has a user account matching the details you are entering?
Can you link me to the event you are testing please? I’ll run a couple of test registrations to see what is happening.

Is that event set to require login as it’s not asking me to log/register in at all?
Is it the EE checkout page that shows you the login/register option?
(Note if you prefer to set up a test event to work through this rather than using a ‘real’ event that’s fine, just post up the link and we can troubleshoot on that event)
