I am making an event even though it's published it is not showing on the page

I am new to this software. when i make an event and publish the labelling of the event is upcoming and can’t be seen on my page. what am i doing wrong?

Hi there,

Can you link us to the page its not showing on?

Also, what is the ID of the event in question?
