Client is signing up with HSBC’s PayMe. Is EE4 able to use that as a payment option?

Hi there, I’m not familiar with HSBC’s PayMe program. Do they integrate with Mollie? https://eventespresso.com/product/eea-ideal-mollie-gateway/

Hi there,

There are no links above to download anything, just text.

However, that looks like an integration pack to build out an integration between Event Espresso and the HSBC PayMe service, which is not something you can take on if you are not a developer. It’s not simply a case of selecting a site to send payments to as the merchant needs to report back to the site etc.

It looks like you’ll need a custom payment method for this, we have some documentation on creating one but as mentioned this is not something you will likely be able to take on yourself and will need a developer to do:

https://eventespresso.com/2015/03/developers-guide-to-payment-methods-for-event-espresso-4-6/

Right now we are not taking on any custom payment methods but to give you an idea of cost and the amount of work involved in these, when we offered this service a while back we charged a minimum of $1000 and around 4-6weeks lead time (depending on how well documented the integration was and any issues with the merchant).

You could try contacting the folks at WP Gateways to see if they are interested in creating this integration:

https://wpgateways.com/

(We don’t have an affiliation with the above just had reports from other users using their integrations)
