How to tell e-Transfer registrations vs credit card payments

We have an Event Registration Form with two Payment options – Credit card and e-Transfer. In Event Espresso > Registrations, is there any way to tell if the registration payment was made using e-Transfer vs credit card?

And an e-Transfer event registration will show Pending Payment status until the payment is approved, correct?

Hi there,

We have an Event Registration Form with two Payment options – Credit card and e-Transfer. In Event Espresso > Registrations, is there any way to tell if the registration payment was made using e-Transfer vs credit card?

If the user selects to Pay via Credit Card, they will pay in full at that time, which means the Transaction status will show as complete.

And an e-Transfer event registration will show Pending Payment status until the payment is approved, correct?

This depends on the ‘default registration status’ set within the Event. If thats set to Pending Payment (which is the default) then any registrations that select a payment method and finalize, will be set to pending payment.

Which payment method are you using for users to select e-Transfer?

Is that a custom payment method you have had developed/purchased for Event Espresso?

Hi Tony,
Sorry for the delay. It looks like his was set up through payment methods.The setting might generally be called Bank Payment but we have renamed it eTransfer. payment_settings#espresso_bank_payment_settings

Oh, right then yeah thats fine.

So it’s just an offline payment method they are using to finalize which means all of my above should apply.
