Hi,
I read somewhere that this is possible to take attendance of recurring course but cannot find more information on it. How does it work and how to configure a course that runs weekly for a year?

Hi there,
It depends on the type of course you are referring to, EE4 doesn’t officially support recurring events but you can create multiple events manually.
When you say track attendance is that for each week?
How do you want registrations to work on this course?
For example, does a user register once onto the course and then attends each week for the year or is each week a separate course they register onto?
If you can provide an example of the user case you are trying to achieve we can advise how/if Event Espresso can work for it.

Hi,
I am hoping to use the checked-in function of EE4. There will be a course with usual registration online, which will run once a week, for 8 weeks. After which, while the course is running, I wanted to take attendance for a course that runs weekly. Could EE4 help me with the attendance taking, for e.g. via mobile app checked-in?

Hi nibbhaya,
Yes you can use the mobile apps to track attendance. You can also use the barcode scanner add-on and there’s also a manual check in screen in Event Espresso > Registrations > Checkins.
When you set up the course’s event page, it works best to create a Datetime for each time the class meets. This way you can keep the attendance information organized by each time the class meets.
