I am putting on an event where the price is free, someone just needs to register and indicate how many tickets they want.
I use the shortcode to show the attendees but I would like to show how many tickets that person reserved. Right now I can show the total number of tickets and the attendee who ordered them but I cannot sow how many tickets that person ordered.

I might not have explained it properly. I can show the total number of tickets sold by the shortcode. I can also show the person that bought some tickets but I cannot show how many tickets each person bought.

You can also enable EE wordpress user integration and when they purchase ticket, account will be created for them and they will be able to see their tickets.

I need the web page/post to show everybody that bought a ticket and how many tickets each person bought. Thats it, everything else is fine.

With no parameters set, this shows the attendees for the earliest active event or if there is no active event, then the earliest upcoming event is shown. If it is used in the event description area (via your event editor), then it will show the attendees for that specific event.
