I’ve created a couple of workshop events to be held in Austria and Germany. We need to show the price in Euros rather than dollars. How can we do this in Event Espresso?

Hello Deborah,
That is actually set in the General Settings under Organization country. You select Austria or Germany and the currency type will change accordingly.

Hmmmm . . . wouldn’t that change the the currency type for ALL our events and not just one or two?

Hello,
Yes that is right it will change the currency for all events. Having a currency for individual events isn’t built into the plugin as yet, though I am trying to get the developers to include it in future versions.
Right now there is no easy fix as the pricing aspects extend across multiple files and plugins, so it is something that would take time to develop.
I am keen to see it included so I will be keeping my efforts up at nudging the developers in that direction, but of course, there is no guarantee when or if it will be included.

I’d hoped that maybe it was tucked away in the “venue” feature somehow.
That’s good to hear that the developers are looking at enhancing the plugin, specifically by offering a currency-type choice for individual events — even if the change is a potential for sometime in the future.
We’ll look for a workaround for now.
