If the event has a start date on a Monday and the end date on a Friday, it will display Monday through Friday on the calendar as the event is running the entire week. In your case the event runs from 5th February to the 26th, so it will be marked on each day.
If you need a single event to run over every Wednesday you could create X number of events and then use the Alternate Registration URL option in each event, to link to the first event. This will display the events in the calendar but only one will be used for registration.
This is a variant on a question I see repeated over and over in these forums. When will EE support this VERY common use case? Most organizations offer events that are delivered in multiple sessions – such as a class that meets once a week for four weeks, a retreat that meets from 9-5 for two consecutive days, etc. A SINGLE class or event that needs ONE registration/payment but occurs over multiple sessions. Each session must be represented in a calendar view. The workaround that is consistently given here is to create multiple events and map them all back to one Reg page. This is a hack. It causes issues with displaying a list of events, issues with a calendar, issues with registration, etc. I really hope a solution will soon be found soon to support this im a straightforward way.
Thanks for the feedback. We are aware of the limitations of the the current calendar system and events that span multiple days and we will no doubt be looking into this for the next major overhaul of the calendar to bring it up to date with 4.0.
However, currently there simply isn’t an alternative to making this work other than the event mapping.
