How to remove the invitation to enter promotion code

The promotion for the upcoming event expired yet the invitation to use it still appears at registration checkout. “Submit Promotion Code”
How do I remove it? I set up Promotional Banners to NO and removed this promotion entirely yet the banner still appears confusing users.
Pls help

Hi,

May I ask do you have any valid promotions to offer at the moment? If not, then you can deactivate the Promotions add-on for the time being. When you have promotions to offer again, you can reactivate the plugin.
