I am building a new website with a newer version of your plugin. Right now our events are closed and there is a message with a yellow box stating “Note to Event Admin: No tickets were found for this event…” How can I remove this message? I looked in your support and didn’t find anything addressing this.

Hi there,

Are you receiving that error message on the front-end or in the admin?

Are tickets associated with the event?

Are tickets showing on the front-end?

It’s on the front end, displayed on the page where the order form would be. There are no active tickets associated with event. We’re using it to schedule classes. So registration for the next semester doesn’t start for another couple month. So the semesters are listed, but there are no active tickets. I’d prefer when we’re between semesters, it would just have the simple red text message we customized.

Hi there,

That notice is only displayed to admins, or at least any users logged in with the capability to edit the current event.

Regular users will see something like “We’re sorry, but all ticket sales have ended.”

Here is a quick example of this: https://monosnap.com/file/Hns4I0q976Dz6x0zsslOwA7tHWm5TS

On the left I’m in a private window and not logged in, on the right I’m logged in. Both of those are loading the exact same event.

So that message is only visible to you, the admin, do you still need to edit that text?

The red “We’re sorry…” can be customized by translating the string, I can give you an example snippet for that if you let me know what you want to change the text to.

Thanks for the clarification. I assumed that was public facing information. I opened the page in another browser to verify and you’re correct. I did find out how to customize the red text. Thanks for your help!

You’re most welcome, happy to help 🙂

Any further issues/questions just let us know.

Just to confirm you’re not using a method which will cause issues further on, may I ask how you customized the text?
