How to limit one ticket per member

I want to create an member only event event with limited spaces. Event price will be free, members need just to reserve a place. Allow group registrants is set up to no. How do I limit members to make just one reservation at this event, because right now member can make a reservation and then come back and make another one.

The only way to force attendees to only be able to register once is to require attendee pre-approval so each registration needs to be approved by an admin. Otherwise, it’s not possible to limit registrations to one per user at this time.
