How to hide tickets sold and tickets remaining?

It’s surprising that the default settings show this information. It’s more surprising it is sooo difficult and convoluted to hide it – especially for a ‘barely computer literate’ person like me! Could someone please provide a simple, straightforward method to hide these fields – that doesn’t require a detailed knowledge of computer code to implement. (The complexity of EE4 seems inconsistent with the good general usability of WorkPress.) I have EE4 and WordPress 4.1.

Hi David,

(The complexity of EE4 seems inconsistent with the good general usability of WorkPress.) I have EE4 and WordPress 4.1.

Unfortunately the more complex the problem, the more complex the solution needs to be.

EE4 is designed to cater to many different event types, providing a lot of functionality and with that flexibility. We’ve tried to keep this as simple and easy to use as possible, but we can only do so much and still provide the flexibility needed, however we do know we need to make some improvements and are working on doing so.

Is it only those two fields you would like to remove or would you prefer to remove the full section?

She ticket details has 4 sections (http://take.ms/S1wKK), you can remove full sections easily with CSS, individual elements within those sections are a little more complicated, but can still be removed.

If you let me know how you what you prefer to remove I can provide some details on how to do so.

Hello again David,

There is now a template option available that can be used to hide the tickets sold details and it is available in a current version of Event Espresso 4.

It can be found by logging into your WP dashboard (WP-admin) and going to Event Espresso –> Events –> Templates. Then scroll to the end of the page and look for Ticket Selector Template Settings.

Then look for the Show Ticket Sale Info option and set it to no and then click on Save to save changes.

Thanks

Lorenzo
