Hello,
I am not sure that I have understood what EE calls a “staff member” …
Obviously it is somebody who has a task in the organization of an event. I undestand that you can create a bio of him you can communicate to attendees. But I do not see any other thing about the “staff” …
My need is to have a staff member in charge of managing attendee : check payments, change attende status to complete, send mail to attendeee, resend ticket if any (if attendee says he didn’t received it), print control list, manage at entrance (adding stepping in visitor), etc… I do not want him to be able to change prices of event, link to post, etc…
How to have a WP user to get the rights similar than Event admin, save the rights on the event itself (only on attendees ?)
Is it possible ? or if not today, how I can create a new role ?
(the staff should not get access to events where he is not staff)

Hi Joel,
The Staff Member can be someone with a role on the website or someone without a role on the website, however the functionality of the Staff Member part is to add the details of that person so that the visitors to your event have a point of contact or are aware of the staff at that event.
To do partially what you are asking you can use the Permissions basic and Permissions Pro add ons.
However there is no way to give a role only partial access to a screen, they will have full access to the event overview screen or no access at all.
If you give someone Event Manager role, they can create and manage their own events which only they and Admins can access.
If you give the person Event Espresso Admin role, then they can access all the events created by everyone.
