Dear Support,

Yesterday we just updated our ee3, but after we updeated it, we are not able to manage user. we were able to manage user in old ee3 version for limiting access in events but why it does not works after update latest ee3.

Waiting for your answer.

Best regards,

Hi Helen,

May I ask by what means were you limiting access in events? Was it with the Roles and Permissions add-on?

Hi Josh,

We do not have the Roles and Permissions add-on.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Hello,
Previously there have an opportuninty to assign one of my stuff to access only in events expresso section to check available booking lists and attendee in the dashbord except other area of wp-dashbord allowing event manager role capability but after update latest ee3 version, we are not getting this service allowing events manager role capability to my stuff. Can you explain about this issue how can fix this. do we need another add-on like Roles and Permissions add-on or somethings else to use for this purpose? We are expecting your explanation regarding this.

Best regards,
Helen LIU(behalf of)

Hi there,

We don’t know how you restricted access to specific users in the old version, did you previously use the Role & Permissions add-on?

It sounds like you had that add-on previously but no longer have it installed on the site? The above is not a feature of Event Espresso 3 core but with the information above it sounds like the features from the EE3 Roles and Permissions add-on.

If you had it installed on the site it would have shown up in the plugins menu as ‘Event Espresso – Permissions’ unless its been completely removed.
