How to filter registrants to determine who has selected invoice as payment type?

Is there an easy way to filter registrants to determine who has selected invoice as payment type?

Also, what’s is the process flow for a registrant if they select invoice as payment?

Hi, filtering by payment method is not currently available as a filter option in Event Espresso.

If an attendee selects invoice, then the payment instructions will be displayed and they’ll be able to download their invoice as a PDF. Their registration status will be set to registration pending payment.

ok. bummer
on a related note …
we’ve noticed that the registration status of folks who are registering for our events that pay with a credit card and their payment is invalid or not going through (for one reason or another) are also being set to “pending payment” but we’re having a hard time telling them why their credit card didn’t go through. Is there a way to get more details ?

If you view the registration, you can then view the transaction for that registration – http://take.ms/RwYBh

Then within the transaction you should see a payment details section – http://take.ms/JVGsW

For example here is a successful transaction – http://take.ms/n2pPh

The gateway response should (depending on why the payment actually failed) provide more details.

So if you view that section on one of those fail transactions, is there anything within gateway response?
