We are using Event espresso 4 version 4.6.20.p and WordPress 4.1.1. I am trying to find out if we can force the warning messages, such as “This transaction has been declined. (code: 65)” which shows up during payment declined situation, to show up for longer duration and possibly until the user closes them. Currently it shows up only for 10 secs on IE 10 and 2 secs on Chrome and then it goes away on its own. So there is quite a good chance that the user may not even notice it.
The only way to do this would be to modify a core javascript file which we do not recommend.
If you must do this, the code is found in the @function display messages section of /wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/modules/single_page_checkout/js/single_page_checkout.js
Please note that support does not cover modifications to core files.
