I don’t seem to have this new wordpress screen option on event espresso pages or events, which means I can’t fully edit events when using the smaller screen on my laptop.
Am I doing something wrong? Or is it not an option for EE4?

Distraction free writing is working fine for me within EE events pages – http://take.ms/NiRbv
It is enabled by clicking the icon on the top right of the editor – http://take.ms/BJ2kx
Can you not see that option?

Actually I do have that, so I might not have defined the problem correctly.
I can’t scroll down the page to edit the event. Whatever is in my screen is as far as I can go. The scroll bar disappears.
This is only happening on EE posts, events and pages. Other standard wordpress pages and posts show the scroll bar.

If you open up Chrome Dev Tool on one of the pages that shows this and look within the ‘Console’ tab, do you see any errors?

I’m using safari, but using the developers tools to do the same thing… no errors are shown.

There are a few possible causes to this issue. You can rule these out one by one:
1) A theme conflict. You can rule this out by temporarily switching to the default WordPress theme.
2) A plugin conflict. You can rule this out by temporarily deactivating any other installed WordPress plugins.

It’s something to do with Safari. It works ok on Chrome. Annoying but I can use chrome on laptop if I need to so this will do for now.
