How To Display only 1st Day of a multi day course in Calendar?

I’m sure this must have been asked before so I apologise if it has but I couldn’t find an answer in the forum.

We run training courses, they are often 4 days long but spread over one or two days a week.

I want these on the calendar but only the 1st day. Delegates can’t attend the other days without attending the first and so having them in the calendar just confuses people. I know I could just create the event as a 1 day event but having the other days there does make the event page look a lot nicer.

In an ideal world a simple tick box on each day for ‘show on calendar’ would be an ideal solution. Is there anyway to achieve something like this or any other solution?

Thanks

Hi there,

Adding this snippet:

https://github.com/eventespresso/ee-code-snippet-library/blob/master/addons/eea-calendar/jf_ee_calendar_display_first_datetime_only.php

To a custom functions plugin on your site should do the trick. We have some documentation on how to create a plugin here:

Thanks that appears to have worked!
