One of the big draws for us to move to EE4 was the ability to add group identifiers. We have several events all of which have “Meal Selection” as a group (all with different meal options). We have diligently set the group identifiers for these groups to include the event name so we can tell one from another – but we don’t seem to be able to see that on the event edit page. Is that something we need to turn on? How can those group identifiers be displayed?

We’re running 4.2.6.p.

Thanks,
Kim.

Hi,

I’m not sure what you mean by group identifiers. Could you share some links or screenshots?

Sure! These:

Here I can set the identifier but in my event, the question group options just show the name, not the identifiers.

Kim.

Hmm, that didn’t work. How about I give you the link to the screenshot instead.

Thanks for the screenshot. You are trying to differentiate between different question groups that have the same name.

The group identifier isn’t shown in the event editor.

Can you revise the name to include more information?

Another option is to click on the group name in the event editor. This will open a new tab and show you the questions associated with this group.
