Hello,

I need to display an ACF field at espresso_event_categories, for that i have also set rules in the ACF options but the ACF options are not displaying at ‘espresso_event_categories’ hence the same thing is displaying at ‘espresso_events’ post types.

Hi there,

I’m not sure I follow the above, can you add some more details or maybe a screenshot that shows the problem?

Hi,

That particular page doesn’t use the standard WordPress taxonomy editor routes. If you’ve added new fields using ACF for that taxonomy, you’ll see them if you go to /wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=espresso_event_categories

Yes correct, and i have also set the rules of ACF for that page location which you have mentioned:/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=espresso_event_categories.
Please review screenshot. https://nimb.ws/cSbwg4
But still it is not displaying at that location.

Hi,

You’ll also need to set the fields to Active, like in this screenshot:

Then, after you save, you’ll see the field like in this screenshot example:

Hi, thanks for your detailed description. Can you please share me the exact URL ? I am referring to these URLs:
1) ‘wp-admin/admin.php?page=espresso_events&action=category_list’
2) ‘wp-admin/admin.php?page=espresso_events&action=edit_category&EVT_CAT_ID=31’
but they are not showing me the exact screen that you have shared above.

Hi there,

The links you’ve shared are the EE routes.

ACF uses the default WP routes, so for the above you’ll need:

/wp-admin/term.php?taxonomy=espresso_event_categories

and

/wp-admin/term.php?taxonomy=espresso_event_categories&tag_ID=31
