I am confused because:
I set the number of tickets for an event a 30 but 43 people have registered. So EE shows that the event is overbooked but now I have to issue a refund for those that registered after the event was full. I had assumed that no more tickets would be allowed to be purchased. How can I set this up so that no one can purchase once the limit is reached.

What I am saying is that even though the event was sold-out people were still allowed to register and not sure how that has happened.

Hi Braden,

A ticket option is linked to a datetime option. A datetime can have multiple ticket options available and here is an example:

Datetime ABC – 50 spots
– Standard ticket – 30 spots
– VIP ticket – 30 spots

Any combination of tickets (e.g. standard or vip) can be sold but once 50 is reached, then the ticket selector will no longer allow sales.

Was a limit set on the datetime like this?

No the date-time was set to 30 and the number of tickets at 30 but 43 registered.

Hi Branden,

If you look at the last few registrations, where they made within a short amount of time?
