How To Configure Season Passes with EE4 Premium

Hi Team

I need a good guide on how to configure events for a season of a sporting team’s home games. I need to be able to sell individual tickets for each event (multiple types) and also a series of Season pass tickets (multiple types) for the entire season.

Essentially each season has a number of games (events)

The season pass tickets need to:
-Allow access to every event in the season
-Adjust the venue capacity for each event when purchased
-Have one single ticket with a QR/Barcode that facilitates check-in for each event
-Have a unique price, not necessarily related to the other ticket type prices

I’m sure it using a combination or some method of ticket bundles with something else. I only have 48 hours to get this up and running and will be populating the events using a third party API. (We’re a software development Company, so no need for help there once we work out how the EE part is best configured.)

URGENT assistance would be greatly appreciated. Please feel free to suggest a direct contact method to speed up communications. (I can be reached on Skype – davestheone81).

Hi,

I’m sorry for the delay of reply, the support staff isn’t online during the weekend.

There currently isn’t a feature set or combination of existing features that allows for your list of specifications. In other words, all of the features you’re describing would need to be custom developed.

Hi Josh

How can I engage the EE team to implement a change for me? I am very clear about what I need, I just need someone to implement one part.

Everything I want can be achieved based on the following change being made:

What I require is the following workflow to be created as an extension/add-on to EE:

I have already created a custom field in Event Post type to pull in event categories. If an event has a category selected in this field, then the following should occur (I am referring to this event as the Parent Event):
a. User is issued the ticket for the Parent Event as per Parent event settings
b. User is registered for all events in the selected event category
c. Ticket issued for Parent event will grant user access to all of the events in the chosen category

We are using the EE App to manage check-in for the events, so it is important that the ticket details are associated with each registration in the other events.

There will be 13 events in total in the category “2019 Season”. This will be the first implementation of this functionality, however it needs to be changeable (which already exists now in the Event post).

If it makes it easier, we can set a category for these Parent Events (Something like “Season Pass Event”.

Can you please let me know if this makes it clear? Please note I have explore the multiple event registration and event datetime configurations and neither achieve what I need.

Can I please urgently get a cost and timeframe to implement this. I can supply a dev environment with everything ready to go.

Hi,

The Event Espresso team currently has all development resources focused on internal projects (including, but not limited to, the Recurring Events Manager add-on, an attendee importer, and a new interface for the barcode ticket scanner). In other words, there isn’t bandwidth available for custom projects at this time.

What you can do is contact the experts at codeable.io and they can give you a quote and timeframe per your specifications.

Hi. I tried codeable and they are unable to find anyone suitable. Is there any way you guys can take this on? This is incredibly urgent.

All development resources are committed to other projects at the moment. You could reach out to any of the developers listed here as well:
