Hi there,
For events that are no longer active, I want to be able to display the page similar to a normal event page (with description, details etc), but to replace the registration form with a message letting people know the event has expired.
The reason for this is – i want to have a list of previous events, so that users can read about the information.
Let me know how I go about doing this…

Hi,
You would need to edit the registration_page.php and registration_page_display.php files, to allow the descriptions to be shown as well as the message.
It should be enough to copy over the php for showing the description into the conditional statements that deal with expired and closed events.
