Hi, We use the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] listing on our website to show upcoming events (courses mainly) and do not want people to go to the details and/or show ticket details (all our events are free). We just want a register button on the listing.

We have this now in EE3 (we changed the shortcode for this) and we want to have this again in EE4. Is there another way to change the shortcode templates? Or do we have to change the code ourselves?

Example of our current shorcode:

This is how EE4 shows it now:

Hi Ron,

There are some settings available in Event Espresso > Events > Templates. The settings under the main heading “Event List Pages” will control what gets displayed (and the order of what gets displayed too) from the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode.
