A person has registered for an event, but not yet paid for it. I want to grant that person a lower price by applying a promotion code to their registration, but there appears to be now way to do this short of cancelling this registration and starting over. Is there another way to grant a promotion code to a registration after the registration has been created but before it has been paid for?

Hi there,
Currently you can’t apply a promotion code to a registration that has already been made, however you could apply an admin payment to the transaction which brings down the total of the transaction to suit.
You can use one of the ‘offline’ payment methods within Event Espresso that you currently do not use, rename that Payment method to ‘Admin Promotion’ and enable it to only work in admin payments, like this – http://take.ms/yVsrH
Then when you apply a payment to the transaction select that payment method for it to show up as an Admin Promotion – http://take.ms/EQSIK
