Hi, I am using your product for a conference – very cool. I have the standard registration form, that allows for additional guests such as children who have different prices. But when I use the additional attendee functions, it charges the same price as the kids as for the main attendee. How can I get a shopping cart to show so the main registrant can choose to add the children at a different price? Thank you!

Hi Jocelyn,

We’re glad you think the plugin is “very cool” 8-).

I think what you are looking for is best done with the Multiple Event Registration add-on. It will look something like this: http://eetesting.info/jon/the-circus-event/

Hi Jonathan,

Thanks, I have the multiple event registration add on already. But on your test site, when I register and then click to add more attendees, each additional person is added at the original price. What I need is to be able to select a different price for the additional person, or have the option to not have the additional person’s price added until after. Does this make sense?

Did you click “Register” or “Add to cart”? If you click register, it will not work as you are expecting. Click “Add to cart” and you can select how many of each ticket you’d like to buy. The “Register” button can be removed with some CSS.

But I still need them to fill out the registration form. Clicking Add to Cart goes straight to checkout and bypasses the registration form which has information I need to capture.

Hi Jocelyn,

The Add to cart function goes to checkout/cart where the tickets are added, but once the user confirms these the registration forms come up to be filled out.

The only way the registration forms would be skipped would be for the additional attendees, if the “Additional Attendee Registration info? ” is set to no info required in the event itself or the questions havent been selected for the primary/additional attendees in the event itself.

The name/email will always be collected for the primary registrant.

Hi Dean, Excellent! Can you tell me how to comment out the Register button – it’s in the CSS correct? thank you!

Nevermind, I figured out how to get rid of the register button (event_list_display.php). Now I just have to find out how to go directly to the View Cart rather than having to double click first Register (I renamed the button) and then View Cart.

Hi,

Check out this article https://eventespresso.com/wiki/multiple-events-registration-use-add-to-cart-link-instead-of-default-registration-form/ you can set the Add to Cart button to just add and show a view cart link or event to redirect tot he cart when the link is pressed.
